Apply for Senior Engineer, Digitial at New Zealand Government in Wellington City, N, NZ. This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth. The Civil Aviation Authority and the Aviation Security Service offer distinctively different career opportunities and embrace diverse talent. All jobs at the Authority contribute to ensuring safe and secure skies to help New Zealand fly. The Civil Aviation Authority is the regulatory arm of our organisation and the Aviation Security Service is the nationwide provider for aviation security. About the Role As a Senior Engineer, Digital, you'll play a key role in delivering the technology foundations that support one of the most significant change programmes underway at CAA. You'll work across multiple transformation initiatives, ensuring new digital solutions are secure, reliable, and ready to support the future needs of the organisation. Working closely with architects, delivery teams, business stakeholders, and vendors, you'll translate business requirements into practical technology solutions that deliver real organisational value. This is an opportunity to influence technical decisions, solve complex challenges, and help shape future-state technology environments. You'll bring deep expertise across infrastructure, cloud, and operational technologies while providing leadership and guidance to colleagues. Beyond delivery, you'll help build capability, improve ways of working, and support the successful transition of new solutions into business-as-usual operations. About the Business Transformation Programme This is your opportunity to get in at the start. We are building a team to deliver a significant transformation that will shape the future of the organisation and the aviation sector. With strong executive support and a clear mandate for change, this is an opportunity to work on genuine transformation - not simply improve existing processes or deliver business as usual. But for the right person, it is also a chance to get involved at the point where the programme is being shaped, make a meaningful contribution and work on a transformation that is genuinely important. If you are motivated by complex change and want to help build something significant, this is the time to get involved.
