Mo te turanga | About the Role

Our painters contribute to the quality of life of our residents by maintaining the building and equipment in our thriving retirement communities.

With responsibility for planned preventative and unplanned maintenance, and a commitment to health and safety for our team members and residents, this is an ideal role for an experienced painter looking for something different.

Qualifications

To tatou kaitono pai | Our ideal candidate must have

  • Full NZ Driver's license
  • Experience in the general paint maintenance of a building, and various machineries and equipment
  • Experience managing subcontractors and ability to maintain good working relationships
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Organisational, time management and problem-solving ability, able to work unsupervised
  • Empathy towards older New Zealanders, good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Competent in using Microsoft products
