Senior Advisor Operations Support, National Service Delivery, Wellington Permanent, full time Te Haeata/The Opportunity We have an opportunity for a Senior Advisors to join our Operations Support team within National Service Delivery (NSD). Job Description We have an opportunity for a Senior Advisors to join our Operations Support team within National Service Delivery (NSD). You will join a fast-paced team that is responsible for supporting the frontline to deliver essential Ministry of Justice services. No two days will be the same, with a mix of business-as-usual service improvements, urgent tasks, along with involvement in exciting and innovative programmes of work. Key Responsibilities Excellent stakeholder management skills - able to prioritise requests across functions which involves navigating and influencing a wide range of stakeholder relationships. Effective delivery of projects, including the ability to define a business problem, plan, and deliver an effective solution, often in a time-pressured environment. Provide timely and expert advice on proposed legislative changes and the expected operational impacts on behalf of all NSD business units. Develop and maintain effective relationships with NSD leadership team, OSD business groups, Office of the Chief Operating Officer, and other groups across the Ministry (e.g. Policy Group). Collaborate on high-quality briefing papers and memorandums for senior leadership and Ministers to support decision-making. Support a busy and fast-paced legislative work programme, which may include supporting or leading implementation projects to ensure timely and effective delivery of the government's law and order initiatives. Provide peer-to-peer support and mentoring to other team members Ō Pūkenga/Skills And Experience The successful applicant will be agile, solution-focussed, and able to think strategically, while also considering impacts on participants, kaimahi and key stakeholders for all National Service Delivery business units. Utu ā-tau/Salary The appointing salary for this role will be between $99,208 and $135,539 based on skills and experience.
