Delivery Driver | Class 2

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for adedicated Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our Christchurch team, based in Woolston. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring ourcustomers receive their orders on time, in excellent condition, and withoutstanding service. Position Snapshot Immediate start Permanent, full-time position Location: Cumnor Terrace, Woolston Days of work: Monday to Saturday Rostered hours between 5:30 am and 02:00 pm(finish time may vary) The Role You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of foodproducts to customers throughout Ōtautahi (Christchurch) and the widerCanterbury region while maintaining the highest standards of safety,professionalism, and customer service. This is a safety-sensitive role requiring a strongcommitment to safe driving practices, health and safety procedures, andprofessional behaviour at all times. Key Responsibilities Safely operate Class 2 delivery trucks totransport goods Load and unload products, ensuring they arehandled and transported securely Deliver customer orders accurately and on time Maintain delivery records and documentation Provide excellent customer service and representthe Service Foods brand professionally Comply with all road safety, transport, andtraffic regulations Report vehicle faults or maintenance issuespromptly and refuel vehicles as needed Conduct daily vehicle checks, including oil andcoolant levels, WOF, tyres, and general roadworthiness Wash and clean vehicles as required Assist with picking and packing orders whenrequired What We're Looking For FullNew Zealand Class 2 Driver Licence Confidencedriving manual vehicles Strong communication and customer service skills Knowledge of Christchurch and Canterbury region(preferred) Good literacy and numeracy skills A reliable, flexible, and detail-focusedapproach to work A clean driving record and clean criminal record Previous New Zealand driving and deliveryexperience Basic knowledge of food products and ingredients Strong organisational and time management skills A positive attitude and willingness to work aspart of a team Reliable transport for your daily commute Physical Requirements This is a physically active role involving regular liftingof up to 20 kgs, loading and unloading deliveries, repetitive movements such asbending, reaching, and twisting, and extended periods of driving, standing,walking, and manual handling. Applicants should be comfortable with thephysical nature of the role and able to safely perform its inherentrequirements. Applicants must have New Zealand citizenship, residency, ora valid New Zealand work visa.
