About the Role As a Hospital Cleaner, you will help the hospital runsmoothly by providing an efficient cleaning service for the patients and staffat Nelson Hospital. Help the hospital stay a safe place where families can visitin comfort and staff can continue doing great work in a clean environment. Types of duties are - but not limited to: Offering morning andafternoon tea (drinks and snacks); Collecting meal trays frompatients after each meal; Mopping the floors usingspecific equipment which training is provided to use; Cleaning offices,bathrooms and ward rooms; Assisting other staff asrequested. In addition to hourly rates, we paypenal rates for evening (after 8.00PM) and weekend work, and additionalpayments/time off if you are rostered to work on a public holiday. The working hours will be on an asrequired basis assisting with peak capacity and covering staff leave. There areno fixed days. Please view the position description for furtherinformation.
