Mobile Application Developer (iOS & Android)

We are looking for a talented and motivated Mobile Application Developer to join our growing software team and take ownership of our native mobile applications across iOS and Android. This is an exciting opportunity to work on real-world products that are used by major organisations across utilities, infrastructure, construction, government, and enterprise environments. You won't be maintaining simple business apps. You'll be developing and enhancing mobile applications that securely connect to Bluetooth-enabled smart locking hardware, helping transform how critical infrastructure is accessed around the world. Working closely with our software developers, product team, UI/UX designers and hardware engineers, you'll play a key role in delivering intuitive, secure and scalable mobile experiences while contributing to the future direction of our platform. This role suits someone who enjoys ownership, solving technical challenges, writing clean maintainable code, and seeing their work deployed into production. We are the developers of LockVue, the world’s first truly smart-lock-agnostic cloud software platform, enabling controlled, secure, keyless access to Bluetooth BLE-enabled locking hardware through a mobile app. What You Will Own Design, develop and maintain native mobile applications for both iOS and Android Develop new features while continuously improving existing applications Write clean, scalable and maintainable production-quality code Contribute to application architecture and technical design decisions Integrate mobile applications with cloud services and REST APIs Deliver secure, reliable and high-performing mobile experiences Optimise application responsiveness, performance and battery efficiency Platform Management Manage application releases through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store Maintain release documentation and version control Monitor application performance, crash reporting and user feedback Ensure ongoing compliance with Apple and Google platform requirements Technical Development Integrate third-party SDKs and services including authentication, analytics, push notifications and crash reporting Diagnose and resolve complex native application issues including memory management, threading and performance optimisation Support Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) integration with connected smart devices Contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and architecture Work closely with software developers, UI/UX designers and product stakeholders Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers on connected device functionality Participate in sprint planning, code reviews and technical discussions Contribute ideas that improve product quality, usability and future development Quality & Continuous Improvement Write well-documented, maintainable code Perform unit testing and support integration testing Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions Help maintain high engineering standards and development best practices About You You are passionate about building high-quality mobile applications that users enjoy using.
