About the role Based across Rotorua Library and Rotorua Museum, and reporting to the Education Lead, you'll plan, promote, deliver and evaluate engaging educational experiences connecting learners with Rotorua's history, culture and heritage. This includes delivering curriculum-based learning programmes for schools and education groups, including Ministry of Education Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC) programmes, and working closely with teachers to create memorable learning experiences while helping develop resources that bring museum collections and local stories to life. About you: Formal teaching qualification with experience delivering engaging programmes for tamariki and rangatahi. Sound understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum and Te Marautanga o Aotearoa. Fluency in te reo Māori and ability to deliver bilingual programmes advantageous. Confident relationship builder, collaborative, customer-focused and proactive.
