Role Description The General Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting consultations, prescribing medications, ordering and interpreting investigations, and coordinating care with nursing and allied health staff. The GP will participate in preventative health initiatives, routine screenings, and health education, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to relevant clinical guidelines. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Auckland, requiring regular presence at Titirangi Medical Centre and participation in practice meetings and quality improvement activities. Qualifications Strong clinical skills in Medicine and Primary Care, with experience managing a broad range of acute and chronic conditions. Competence in Family Medicine, including care for children, adults, and older persons within a community setting. Ability to work collaboratively with Nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care. Experience or interest in Training, mentoring, and continuous professional development. Medical degree and current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Medical Council of New Zealand. Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, cultural safety, and respectful communication with diverse communities. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a varied clinical workload in a part-time capacity.
