About the Role As Document Controller within the Infrastructure and Investment Group (IIG) National Delivery team, you will work with our largest construction project teams where you'll be responsible for establishing and maintaining a structured document control environment that supports the successful delivery of Health NZ's large infrastructure projects. Working closely with our main contractors, project teams and consultants you will ensure technical documentation is accurate, traceable, and compliant enabling smooth collaboration, audit readiness and alignment with quality, regulatory and contractor requirements. This role is central to creating a seamless experience for teams and stakeholders by ensuring documentation is well-organised, accessible, and aligned with organisational standards. About the Team/Service/ Location The mission of the Health New Zealand Infrastructure and Investment Group (IIG) is to provide the safe, fit for purpose health facilities, sites and equipment that are essential for a well-functioning health system. The IIG leads investment by understanding and managing these well, ensuring health facilities, sites, and equipment with the highest need of investment are prioritised and standardising the way these are delivered, maintained, refurbished or redeveloped. About you You take pride in creating systems and processes that make life easier for others, enabling teams to work confidently with well-managed documentation. You thrive in environments where collaboration and problem-solving are key, and you're comfortable working across multiple projects and priorities. You have hands-on experience with digital platforms and enjoy helping others succeed by providing clear guidance and training, and you can translate technical concepts into practical steps that people understand. Above all, you bring a proactive mindset, a willingness to share knowledge, and a commitment to continuous improvement that helps the organisation deliver infrastructure that supports equitable, high-quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. You will bring: Relevant tertiary qualification (Level 5+) in information management, business administration, digital systems, or related field Experience using or supporting construction/project management platforms (Procore, SharePoint, Planview) Strong attention to detail and understanding of document control principles Ability to train and support users in digital systems Familiarity with Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in the workplace Desired Experience in infrastructure or construction environments Familiarity with AI tools and concepts Understanding of metadata, tagging, and document classification systems Exposure to platform administration or configuration Working for Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
