About The Opportunity Step into a hands‑on Business Development Manager role where you’ll own a high‑potential territory across the Taranaki region, building trusted customer relationships and driving profitable growth across grocery, route, foodservice and distributor channels. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves being out in market, planning with purpose, and turning customer insight into real commercial results. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager you will: Create and execute a territory sales plan focused on increasing availability, visibility and customer centricity across key customers and channels. Manage a structured call cycle across supermarket customers, while proactively identifying new opportunities across the more dynamic out‑of‑home channel Partner with grocery customers, distributors and the Anchor Franchisee network to grow customer count, improve ranging and strengthen in‑store presence Use sales data, market insight and competitor activity to spot opportunities, challenge performance and support smart commercial decisions Take ownership of your territory, planning your week with purpose and balancing time on the road with administration, reporting and future‑focused planning About You You’re a driven and commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and getting results. You’ll be comfortable working autonomously in a sole‑charge territory, while still being part of a fun, vibrant and highly supportive team that genuinely looks out for one another.
