Role summary This Project Manager role sits within a Wellington-based consultancy delivering a broad mix of construction projects nationally, with a strong education sector focus. You'll manage projects from scoping through to completion, working closely with in-house design and QS teams, and will take ownership across scope, budget, programme and quality on every job. Key responsibilities Manage project scope, budgets, programmes and quality Coordinate consultants through the design process Prepare procurement documentation and manage tender processes Administer construction contracts through delivery Lead project meetings with clients and stakeholders Manage risks, RFIs, variations and defects Monitor budgets and programmes, prepare project reports Work with in-house design and QS teams on integrated solutions Key skills & experience 3+ years managing construction projects in NZ Experience on commercial, education or public sector projects Construction-related tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience) Sound understanding of NZ contracts, procurement and consenting Confident managing multiple projects simultaneously Strong computer skills, cloud-based PM software experience MOE or public sector project exposure an advantage Legal right to work in NZ required (no visa sponsorship) You'll join a business that backs its people, with genuine ownership over your projects and a team culture built on support rather than sink-or-swim.
