This is a genuinely hands-on leadership position with a highly respected heavy vehicle repair business. You will provide technical guidance, support your team when required, manage workflow and timelines, and ensure every repair is completed safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard. The skills needed You'll be a trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic with strong heavy vehicle experience and proven leadership or workshop operations experience.Previous Workshop Manager, Workshop Supervisor, Leading Hand or similar leadership experience. Experience in transport repair, fleet maintenance, heavy mechanical workshops or service centres is highly regarded. Accident repair experience is not essential, with training provided to develop specialist knowledge while using your existing heavy vehicle and leadership skills. A Diesel Mechanic trade qualification - essential Extensive hands-on heavy vehicle mechanical experience Strong diagnostic and mechanical fault-finding skills The ability to manage workflow, deadlines, and competing priorities Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong computer literacy and the ability to learn workshop management systems A positive, solutions-focused approach and strong work ethic A genuine commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction The ability to lead, motivate, and develop a workshop team A truck and forklift licence would be advantageous If you're an experienced Workshop Manager looking for your next challenge, a Workshop Supervisor ready to take the next step, or an accomplished Diesel Mechanic with the leadership capability to move into management, we'd like to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
