We’re seeking a cookery professional who holds a minimum Level 6 Cookery qualification (required to deliver our Level 5 programmes) and is passionate about sharing their industry knowledge to help learners build the skills, confidence, and capability needed for success. No formal teaching experience? That’s okay, if you have the industry expertise and a passion for developing others, we’ll support you to grow your training capability. No extensive teaching experience? That's okay. If you have strong culinary expertise and a passion for developing others, we'll support you to grow your teaching capability through ongoing professional development. What You'll Be Doing Deliver engaging theory and practical cookery training Prepare and deliver lessons aligned with programme requirements Assess learner progress and provide timely feedback and academic support Develop and adapt learning resources to support student success Support learners to build practical, workplace, and employability skills Contribute to programme development, moderation, and continuous improvement A relevant culinary qualification (Diploma or Degree in Cookery) Professional experience working in a commercial kitchen Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, kitchen operations, and menu planning Excellent communication skills with a passion for coaching and developing others Hold or be open to working towards an Adult Education qualification (Level 4+) and Unit Standard 4098 with Skills Group's support as part of your professional development Why join us?
