Role Overview BlackBull Group is a multi-regulated, multi-asset broker headquartered in Auckland, operating across five jurisdictions. This role sits on the risk desk, reporting to the Head of Risk, APAC. It is an operating seat rather than a reporting one. You will watch live exposure, live client flow, and live execution, and act on what you see. Key Responsibilities Monitor net exposure by instrument and client group against the limits in the risk framework, and escalation breaches to the Head of Risk, APAC Reduce exposure through routing changes or hedges placed with liquidity providers Apply agreed measures ahead of scheduled data releases, central bank decisions, and market open and close Track margin utilisation and client stop out risk Identify trading patterns that carry elevated risk to the book, including latency arbitrage, news trading, high win rate scalping, and coordinated group trading Review client and client group performance data and recommend routing changes where a trading profile has shifted Investigate abnormal trading activity and report findings to Risk and Compliance Monitor fill prices, execution speed, and slippage, and diagnose whether issues sit with liquidity provider connectivity, bridge configuration, or the platform Apply weekly swap rate updates, margin changes, market holiday calendars, and daylight saving adjustments Support the onboarding of new instruments, client groups, and pricing feeds Produce daily exposure, profit and loss, and execution reporting for the desk and management Required Skills And Experience Working familiarity with MT4, MT5, or cTrader, including the dealer terminal Understanding of FX and CFD mechanics: pricing, leverage, margin, execution, and settlement Ability to read exposure and performance data and identify what needs action Accuracy under time pressure, particularly on configuration work where an error has an immediate cost Clear escalation, written and verbal, to a senior stakeholder Eligibility to work in New Zealand Preferred Qualifications Degree in finance, economics, mathematics, science, or engineering Prior experience in an FX, CFD, or derivatives business #J-18808-Ljbffr
