Project Engineer - Site Based

Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity We’re looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our Industrial team, supporting a growing and long‑term portfolio of regional industrial work in Invercargill. This is a site‑based delivery role offering real responsibility, strong client exposure and the backing of Beca’s wider national capability. You’ll work closely with key Southland-based clients across the dairy and heavy industries, delivering a mix of sustaining capital and larger regional industrial projects. He aha tāu mahi | What you’ll be doing Delivering sustaining capital projects such as equipment replacements, safety upgrades, reliability improvements and compliance works Supporting major capital projects as they arise Managing projects end to end, from scope and planning through to delivery - working alongside client teams with support from Beca’s wider national capability Building strong, trusted client relationships through consistent, high‑quality delivery Working confidently and independently in a site based delivery environment, partnering with operational teams and key stakeholders, drawing on national project support where needed Te Oranga i Murihiku | Life in Invercargill With short commutes, affordable housing and a strong sense of community, Invercargill offers a lifestyle that’s hard to beat.
