Our Macraes Open Pit workshop team are on the search for a Serviceman to join their team. This role will be responsible for safely and efficiently performing daily servicing (fueling and lubrication) and planned maintenance of all mining machinery and ancillary plant/equipment under control of the open pit maintenance workshop. Additionally, the successful applicant will display a high degree of professionalism and quality workmanship to ensure that cost effective maintenance and repairs are delivered. Key tasks and responsibilities Maintain high levels of housekeeping of all facilities, equipment, and company vehicles. Apply Contamination Control methodologies for all work undertaken. Record and report usage of all components, parts, and other resources on work-order job cards. Planned maintenance (servicing) of all mining, ancillary and support plant. Provide assistance tothefleet maintenance techniciansand other workshop personnel. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) specified forequipmentor tasks and be involved in the development and review/revision of procedures when required. Required qualifications Fulland Current DriverLicence, ability to drive manual vehicles is preferred. Previous experience in the servicing, repairs and maintenance of heavy machinery. Similar experience in an industry such as forestry, agriculture androad transport carrying out similar types of work will be considered. Previousexperience with operatingof heavy plantand equipment an advantage.
