Reporting to the Head of Strategic Delivery, you'll join a team designed to operate as Avanti's internal transformation consultancy. Think less traditional project delivery and more a SWAT team for business improvement. You'll partner with different departments across the business, embedding yourself alongside teams to understand how they operate, identify inefficiencies, solve problems and deliver meaningful change. This isn't a role where you'll simply make recommendations and move on. You'll work closely with operational teams to uncover opportunities, implement practical solutions and measure the value delivered. You'll be expected to roll up your sleeves, challenge the status quo and help drive outcomes from idea through to execution. The role As a Business Transformation Analyst, you'll work as part of a transformation squad focused on improving productivity, customer outcomes and operational performance across Avanti. Working alongside operational teams, you'll observe how work gets done, map and analyse processes, identify improvement opportunities and support the implementation of practical solutions that deliver measurable business value. You’ll help drive a fortnightly improvement cadence, working across multiple initiatives at any one time. Some improvements may be delivered in days, others over several weeks, but the focus remains the same: identify inefficiencies, implement change and demonstrate tangible results. This role will suit a Business Analyst who enjoys being close to the action. Someone who wants to move beyond gathering requirements and become actively involved in solving problems, driving improvement and delivering outcomes. What you'll do Partner with operational teams to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities Conduct discovery sessions, workshops and frontline process observations Analyse trends, data and business performance to identify opportunities and establish benchmarks Document current and future state processes, workflows and business requirements Support a fortnightly business improvement cadence focused on rapid delivery and continuous improvement Assist with the implementation of process, workflow and automation improvements Measure and communicate the value delivered through transformation initiatives Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the business Manage multiple concurrent workstreams while maintaining momentum and delivery focus Champion a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and progress over perfection What we're looking for We're looking for someone who combines strong Business Analysis capability with genuine curiosity, resilience and a desire to make things better. We are a financial services company, so we would need someone with Financial services experience. you’ll ideally bring: At least 3 years' experience in Business Analysis, business improvement, transformation, operational excellence or a similar role Proven experience of working in financial services Strong analytical and problem solving capability, with the ability to turn insights into action Excellent documentation skills, including process mapping and current and future state analysis Experience working closely with operational teams and understanding frontline processes The ability to establish benchmarks, measure outcomes and demonstrate business value Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Confidence asking questions, challenging constructively and influencing change A highly organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Resilience, adaptability and comfort working in a fast paced and evolving environment A hands on mindset and willingness to do the work, not just recommend it A relentless focus on continuous improvement and delivering outcomes Experience within financial services, lending, operations or customer facing environments will be highly regarded but is not essential.
