Te Kowhiringa I The Opportunity On a day to day basis, you will be working in a local school setting, working with a case load of families, providing early intervention and preventive social work services tovulnerable children and teens; and their whanau. This includes individual and group work, and using our strengths-based, multi-systemic approach to encourage positive and lasting change. Ngā pūkenga kei a koe I Your Skills and Experience A tertiary level degree, majoring / specialised in Social Work Registration with the Social Workers Registration Board Full, clean NZ driverlicence, and a reliable vehicle Some experience working as a Social Worker Advanced interpersonal skills, including ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, their families, the local school and your colleagues Excellent ability to maintain professional boundaries, meet KPI's and adhere to practice requirements Experience working with children in a school setting would be a distinct advantage Confident, working knowledge of Tikanga Maori; and commitment to working with Tangata Whenua Diversity & Inclusion at PSN We are committed to creating a diverse workplace where you can look forward to feeling included and valued for your contribution.
