You'll interpret and analyse data, validate field conditions, and manage the traffic counting contract to ensure optimal asset performance, longevity, and value for money. Your work will directly support evidence-based investment and operational decisions that keep New Zealand's transport network running smoothly. Appointment salary is expected to from $93,00 to $113,000, commensurate with skills and experience About you Experience applying asset management principles and systems to transport infrastructure Ability to interpret complex technical datasets and develop practical maintenance programmes Understanding of pavement engineering and highway surface data Experience in field validation, network inspections, and asset condition assessment Strong analytical and communication skills Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Asset Management, or related discipline (or equivalent experience) About Us At NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, we're committed to delivering great outcomes for New Zealanders - now and for the future.
