Job Description
Healthcare Assistant - General Ward Lakes District Hospital Permanent, part time opportunity (0.6 FTE) Salary Band - $60,100 - $70,358 per annum pro-rata + KiwiSaver Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders. About the Role In this important role you will help with a range of direct and non-direct patient care tasks under the direction of a registered nurse and maintain the department environment to ensure efficient and effective functioning. Supporting our nurses and other members of the healthcare team Patient supervision and/or movement Stock reconciliation, restocking, and setting up of equipment General department housekeeping Patient cares, as required Clerical duties, as required Hours of work are Monday to Sunday inclusive, based on rostered shifts including nights and weekends.
