Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand | Counties Manukau is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of a clinically and culturally diverse patient population. The position is primarily based within our inpatient rehabilitation service, with potential opportunities for the right candidate to work within our Physiotherapy Outpatient Clinic, providing rehabilitation for people with neurological and vestibular conditions, as well as those requiring amputee rehabilitation. You will work both independently and as part of a highly skilled interdisciplinary team. Counties Manukau is committed to supporting ongoing professional growth and development through regular supervision, weekly in-service education, and access to continuing professional development opportunities. There may also be opportunities to contribute to the supervision and development of rotational physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and physiotherapy students. You will receive professional support from experienced physiotherapists, your Section Head, and the wider rehabilitation team. Essential Requirements Minimum of one year of clinical physiotherapy experience Registration with the New Zealand Physiotherapy Board and a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) Full New Zealand driver's licence Preferred Experience Previous experience working within a rehabilitation setting Experience working with people with neurological and vestibular conditions Experience in amputee rehabilitation At Counties Manukau Health people and their lives matter to us.
