About the role Join our team as a Qualified Mental Health Professional Provide culturally responsive, community-based mental health support for Pacific peoples. The role empowers individuals through recovery-focused care, develops personalised wellness plans, connects clients with services and community resources, and collaborates with families, health professionals, and stakeholders to promote wellbeing, independence, and positive recovery outcomes Key Responsibilities: Complete clinical assessments and provide mental health support for Pacific people and their families. Create and review recovery and wellbeing plans with clients. Coordinate care with clients, families, health professionals, and support services. Help clients access health, education, employment, and community services. Identify and manage risks, including discharge and transition planning. Provide clinical guidance and supervision to non-clinical staff. Support continuous improvement and the delivery of safe, high-quality mental health services. About you Knowledge and understanding of a Pacific culture. Experience working with the Pacific community Registered or registerable Social Worker, fully registered under the Health Practitioner Competence Assurance Act i.e. Occupational Therapist, Nurse, psychotherapist, or fully registered alcohol and drug and or gambling practitioner member of the Addiction Practitioners' Association Aoteroa - New Zealand. Professional certification and registration in accordance with registration board requirements. Satisfy requirements for working with vulnerable adults including police vetting.
