The Role: Casual Support Worker As a casual Support Worker, you will always have variety in your work. Casual roles are to cover leave for permanent Support Workers – the hours of work are not regular and are offered when they become available. We provide 24/7 supported accommodation with round‑the‑clock staff support. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about empowering others and making a real difference in people’s lives. Day Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm Afternoon Shift: 3:00pm – 11:30pm Night Shift: 11:00pm – 7:30am Responsibilities Work in a recovery‑focused way. Support with cleaning, cooking, and helping with everyday household tasks. Medication support. Attending appointments and advocating for people. Budgeting and independent daily living skills. Qualifications Applicants must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent. Must be flexible and available for varying shifts, including awake night shifts. Must hold a current full driver’s licence. Must hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one. Strong communicator, written and verbal. Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Closing Date: Thursday, 20th August 2026.
