About the role | Kō tēnei tūranga mahi As a Graduate Planner, you’ll gain hands‑on experience processing resource consent applications, completing planning checks for building consents, and responding to customer enquiries under the Resource Management Act. You’ll be supported by experienced planners while developing your technical skills, professional judgement, and confidence working with customers and stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity to start your planning career in a supportive, collaborative environment where learning, professional development, and continuous improvement are actively encouraged. Process allocated resource consent applications, including land use and subdivision consents Complete planning checks for building consent applications Provide customer‑focused advice, including participating in a duty planner roster Prepare clear, accurate, and well‑written reports Actively participate in training, professional development, and process improvement About you | Ko ngā pūmanawa ō This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a real impact in their community while developing a strong foundation in planning practice.
