An exciting opportunity has arisen to join ICL Education Group, a New Zealand Qualifications Authority-accredited education provider and a fast-growing international education business. We are seeking an experienced Agent Relationship Manager with a strong understanding of international education and a commitment to ethical student recruitment. In this key role, you will be responsible for developing, managing and monitoring ICL’s relationships with education agents, supporting ethical recruitment, regulatory compliance and sustainable enrolment growth across the organisation. You will work closely with our Marketing, Admissions, Student Services, Academic, Compliance and Management teams, as well as education agents and other external stakeholders. You will play an important role in building strong agent partnerships, strengthening recruitment networks and ensuring that agent activities align with ICL’s strategic objectives, policies and regulatory requirements. About the role: The Agent Relationship Manager will oversee the education agent relationship lifecycle, from appointment and due diligence through to ongoing performance monitoring, compliance and review. Key responsibilities include: Conducting due diligence and reference checks for prospective education agents. Preparing, coordinating and maintaining education agent agreements and renewals. Monitoring agent performance against agreed measures, including enrolment outcomes, application quality, visa approval rates, student retention and student feedback. Reviewing agents’ websites, social media, advertising and promotional materials to ensure ICL is represented accurately and appropriately. Identifying and managing potential compliance, reputational and brand risks. Investigating concerns or complaints relating to education agents and coordinating appropriate corrective action. Maintaining oversight and accurate records of approved sub-agents. Maintaining complete, accurate and audit-ready agent records. Preparing reports on agent performance, recruitment trends, compliance issues and areas of risk. Supporting NZQA, Immigration New Zealand and internal quality assurance and audit activities. Contributing to the continuous improvement of ICL’s agent management policies, procedures, monitoring frameworks and training. About you: You will be a confident relationship manager who can build trust while maintaining clear standards and expectations. You will be comfortable working with data and documentation, identifying potential risks, having difficult conversations when necessary, and working collaboratively across different teams. Essential requirements include: Fluency in English. A tertiary qualification. Demonstrated ability to develop trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Very good computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn internal student management systems. Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. Ideally, you will also bring: A tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Education, International Education or a related discipline. Experience in international student recruitment, education agent management, admissions or an education-sector compliance role. Knowledge of NZQA requirements, Immigration New Zealand policies, the Education Code of Practice and international education good practice. Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining accurate records.
