Job Description
Are you a marketer with a creative mindset? Are you a natural writer who understands the impact of great content, copywriting, and social media? Do you have a love of interiors, architecture, or design? If this sounds like you, read on. Escea Fireplace Company is a leading designer, manufacturer, and service provider of innovative fireplaces, experiencing rapid international growth. We're seeking a Content & Copywriting Executive to join our in-house Marketing team — a role that spans content creation, copywriting, and the management of our social media channels. This role is more than just writing about fireplaces — it's about telling the stories of the beautiful homes they belong in and the people who bring them to life. It's about writing great copy that resonates with audiences and building an engaged online community through our social channels. This is a rare chance to work on a premium design-led brand from Dunedin, with genuine global reach – working across seven brands and collaborating with teams across New Zealand, Australia, the US, and Europe. It’s a hands-on, varied role where no two days are ever the same. You'll move from developing content strategies and interviewing designers for your next article, to publishing on social media and reporting on the impact your work is having. You're equally comfortable thinking strategically as you are rolling your sleeves up and executing. In a marketing team of 10 who operate like an in-house agency, you’ll get exposure across the full marketing mix. As a team, we work hard, move fast, but most importantly, have a laugh doing it. Our products are beautiful, the industry is inspiring, and the work reflects both. You might be an experienced marketer looking for an autonomous, creative role — a chance to get back to your craft in a fun, collaborative team. Or you could be earlier in your career but driven and ambitious, ready to make your mark in a team that'll back you. What matters most is that you bring a genuine marketing lens to everything you do — from the big strategic thinking right down to the executional detail – with ownership, drive, and creativity. What You’ll Do Content – Drive and execute a content strategy across multiple brands and markets — sourcing, writing, and distributing articles, case studies, advertorials, email marketing and more, optimised for each platform and audience. Copywriting – Craft compelling copy across digital and print — campaigns, web content, brochures, ads, collateral, and more — helping define and protect our brand voice on a global stage. Social Media – Own and manage all organic social media channels — publishing content, managing community engagement, and responding to enquiries across all brands. Reporting – Track and analyse content and social performance, using insights to refine your approach and inform strategy. General Marketing Support – Support the wider marketing team across campaigns, product releases, and brand initiatives as needed. What You’ll Bring Exceptional writing skills with a sharp instinct for tone of voice and detail. A genuine marketing mindset — you understand why content exists and what it needs to achieve. Strong initiative and creativity — you bring ideas, not just execution. The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. A collaborative, team‑focused approach with strong communication skills. An enthusiasm for using AI and digital tools to lift your output — you see them as a way to do more of what you do well, not a shortcut around your craft. 3+ years in a marketing or communications role, with a relevant qualification. An appreciation for interiors, architecture, or design — desirable, but not essential. As part of our commitment to providing a safe and healthy workplace, successful applicants will be required to undergo pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing. #J-18808-Ljbffr
