We are looking for afully registeredspecialist teacher to join our itinerant Outreach Programme supporting ORS funded students in their local schools within the Central Auckland area. The ideal applicant will have the skills and ability tocollaboratewithclassroom teachers, support staff and other specialists to develop and implement effective learning programmes that promoteinclusion,success, and engagement. You willhave excellent people skills, be able to work cooperatively and flexibly within a team, show initiative, and communicate effectively with a range of others.A sense of humour isessential.Having an inquirybased/problem-solving approach toyour work,enthusiasm forbringing fun and learningtogether, alongside your knowledgeandexperienceofworking with students with autism and complex needswould be an asset. You will join an experienced and supportive Outreach Team and have access to professional development and ongoing training. A full, clean driver’s licence is essential.
