About the role This role is to ensure workforce readiness, maintain compliance with Nga Paerewa standards, and mitigate risks to patient safety and service delivery. Facilitation of education will be the central focus of the role, as it isn't expected that candidates will have in-depth knowledge of all outpatient services. Support new and existing staff within Outpatients with the provision of education, training and resources that ensure practice is current, evidence-based and fit for purposeCollaborate alongside nurses, medical colleagues, as well as other educators within the wider PDU teamProvide practice and professional development opportunities that enhance service delivery, quality and safety alongside improved patient outcomes. Usecritical incidents as an opportunity for staff development. Actas a resource person and supportstaff to achieve Professional Development and Recognition Programme (PDRP) requirements. Mentornursesand preceptors where appropriate.
