Job Description Waikato Milking Systems is looking for a skilled Production Welder (Steel) to join our Manufacturing. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for producing high-quality steel components using MIG and TIG welding techniques while meeting production schedules, quality standards and safety requirements. You'll work closely with a supportive manufacturing team and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business. Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding to specification Manufacture products within required quality and time standards Maintain a strong focus on workmanship and attention to detail Read and interpret engineering drawings where required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll have: At least 3 years' experience in MIG welding TIG welding experience or exposure (advantageous) Strong understanding of welding positions and equipment operation Experience working with steel and metal fabrication Ability to accurately measure and produce quality work Physical fitness and ability to work in a manufacturing environment A strong commitment to health and safety A proactive, reliable and team-focused attitude Additional Information People First | Curious & Courageous | Pride | Agile | We Find a Way Be part of a values-driven team committed to quality and continuous improvement.
