In this role, you will lead teaching and learning across the junior syndicate while maintaining outstanding classroom practice. You will leverage theScience of Learningto drive effective teaching strategies, foster a supportive professional learning community, and mentor colleagues to lift outcomes for every learner. As a leader in a Catholic school, you will play a vital role in upholding and weaving our Catholic Special Character into the daily life, culture, and learning of the Junior team. Key selection criteria and qualifications Qualified, registered teacher with current registration. Outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record of strong learner outcomes. Proven or emerging leadership capability with a genuine desire to develop others. Deep understanding of theScience of Learningand evidence-informed pedagogical approaches. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills. Commitment to upholding and supporting the Catholic Special Character of the school. Desirable (Advantages) Hands-on experience teachingStructured Literacy / Better Start Literacy Approach (BSLA). Hands-on experience implementingMaths No Problem!
