We are seeking an outstanding educational leader to join our curriculum leadership team as our academic operations lead. This newly created position is for an aspiring educator wishing to broaden their leadership experience and whole-school curriculum understanding. Reporting to the deputy principal - teaching and learning, you will work alongside the senior leadership team (SLT), attending SLT meetings to contribute directly to operational discussions and strategic decision-making. Key responsibilities Lead the implementation and development of the reporting model. Serve as principal's nominee, ensuring NZQA compliance and assessment integrity. Construct the school timetable. Lead the organisation of internal, external and Derived Grade examinations. Support heads of department with assessment, reporting and markbook practices. Coordinate the annual assessment and reporting calendar. Drive discussions on reporting, assessment and NZQA. What you will bring Excellent understanding of NCEA and NZQA curriculum, assessment and reporting practices. Strong organisational, project management and interpersonal skills. Confidence with data, timetabling, and student management systems. Strategic thinking paired with operational excellence. Registered teacher seeking future senior leadership growth.
