You are responsible for receiving and distributing goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring all deliveries are checked, stored, and issued efficiently. As a Store Person , you’re not just managing stock for the hotel – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by ensuring our team members have the supplies they need to create memorable experiences for every guest. Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day: Receive and manage deliveries: Accept and inspect all incoming deliveries, checking products against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with hotel standards. Distribute stock across the hotel: Issue and deliver supplies to departments as requested, maintain appropriate stock levels, and ensure the efficient and secure movement of goods throughout the hotel. Maintain inventory and stock control: Assist with routine stocktakes and inventory counts, monitor stock levels, identify shortages or slow-moving items, and help maintain accurate inventory records. Support invoice and documentation processes: Process invoices and delivery documentation, verify pricing and quantities against purchase orders, investigate discrepancies, and ensure records are accurately maintained. Ensure safe and organized storage operations: Maintain a clean, secure, and organized loading dock and storage areas, while adhering to health and safety requirements, hotel procedures, and inventory control standards. In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications: Previous experience in a storeperson, warehouse, inventory control, receiving, or logistics role is preferred. Good computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and inventory or purchasing systems. Strong attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills. Good organizational and time management skills. Physically fit and capable of lifting, moving, and handling stock safely. Experience with stocktaking and inventory management systems.
