The Story Our client is taking a fresh look at how their finance function operates day-to-day. They need a heavy-hitting Functional BA to jump in, partner closely with the CFO, and lay down a clear strategic roadmap. You won't be dealing with systems integration or technical code here; this hire is purely about operational efficiency, identifying pain points, unblocking hurdles, and setting the team up for long-term success. Your Role Working directly alongside executive leadership, you will review current finance operations and help design an efficient, future-proof operating model. Partner with Executive Leadership: Collaborate closely with the CFO to map out strategic goals, pain points, and future-state capability. Process & Operational Review: Evaluate existing workflows, structures, and functional processes across the finance team to spot bottlenecks. Roadmap Development: Build a pragmatic, step-by-step roadmap detailing the path from current state to an optimised operational model. Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate meaningful workshops and conversations across the finance structure, speaking their language fluently. Problem Solving: Uncover operational blockers and propose clear, practical solutions to drive team functionality.
