Teaching and training are important to us here in Dunedin and that iswhy our RMOs have a protected session every week. In addition, thereare several other regular activities that House Officers can join in on.Whether it is the regular House Officer Education sessions or thejournal clubs, X-ray meetings or rounds from the various services; thereis always something happening. Depending on your interest, we have several runs available for you to work in. These include the following: Medical Oncology ENT Ophthalmology / Neurology Haematology Respiratory Cardiothoracic Surgery Cardiology Orthopaedics Renal General Surgery including Urology and Vascular ED While the above runs are available each quarter, we also have several6 month runs available as well (O&G and Paediatrics). If yourinterest lies in these specialties, please indicate your preferences inyour cover letter. If we don't hear from you, we will assume you areapplying for a general role.
