About the role We're looking for an experienced Asset & Delivery Engineer to support the effective lifecycle management of electricity network assets across Horizon Networks. In this role, you'll contribute to asset risk modelling, maintenance and renewal planning, engineering assessments, and the delivery of capital and operational programmes. You'll work closely with the Asset & Delivery Manager and wider engineering, operations, and planning teams to ensure our network assets are safe, reliable, and managed to industry best practice. Key responsibilities Develop, maintain and enhance asset risk models and intervention criteria Plan and manage asset lifecycle activities including maintenance, renewals and replacements Analyse asset performance, failures and defects, and recommend improvements Prepare business cases, technical standards, SOPs and engineering documentation Support delivery of annual OPEX and CAPEX programmes, including project oversight Conduct engineering assessments, options analysis and technical reviews Contribute to Asset Management Plans, regulatory disclosures and reporting Support accreditations including but not limited to ISO55001, ISO45001, NZS7901, and ISO9001 Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to ensure efficient delivery About you Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) 3+ years' experience in electricity distribution or transmission highly preferred Strong understanding of network assets, lifecycle management and reliability analysis Knowledge of relevant codes, standards and electricity industry safety requirements Analytical, organised and methodical, with strong reporting and documentation skills Able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders NZ full driver licence or ability to obtain one What's in it for you?
