Job Description

Things move fast at Shaggy. We drop new products every couple of weeks, we're launching new categories, and we need someone who can keep up with the creative pace and help us build out what this brand looks like at scale. We're looking for a Garment & Graphic Designer to help develop the visual Identity of the brand. This role covers garment graphics, technical design, and marketing assets. You'll be the person turning ideas into print-ready files, building tech packs for new product categories, and making sure everything that leaves our studio looks unmistakably Shaggy. This is a hands-on creative role where you'll work directly with the founder, and your ideas will ship within weeks, not months. Why work with us? What You'll Be Responsible For Garment Graphics Graphic artwork for tees, hats, and hoodies etc. from concept to print-ready files Colourway development and seasonal collection planning Ensuring every graphic fits the Shaggy aesthetic: 90s surf culture, worn-in, never corporate Reviewing incoming samples and making adjustments Technical Design Tech packs and spec sheets for new product categories: boardshorts, jeans, women's tees, future lines (and input on what we make next) Garment construction details, fabric specs, trim notes, and fit guidance Direct communication with manufacturers on technical queries Supporting the sampling and approval process for new products Marketing Design Drop launch graphics, email headers, ad creative templates, website banners Social media graphic assets to support the content team Maintaining visual consistency across everything the brand puts out Who This Role Is For We're less concerned with years of experience and more interested in how you see the world and how you work. You'll be a great fit if you: Have a genuine feel for surf and streetwear aesthetics, you can look at a graphic and know immediately if it fits the vibe or not Take creative ownership naturally, when you're briefed, you bring ideas, not just execution Are technically solid, you understand how to communicate garment construction to a factory so they can make it without you standing next to them Move fast without cutting corners, we drop product constantly and the quality still has to be right Have a good feel for on trend garments and what our market are looking for. Prefer small teams where your work is visible and your instincts are trusted A background in fashion, textile, or graphic design is helpful. Fresh grads or self taught is also welcome, we care more about instinct and technical foundation than years on a CV. Useful Skills Adobe suite (fresco, photoshop, illustrator). this is non-negotiable, everything lives here Garment tech pack creation, academic projects count Understanding of print and embellishment techniques, screen print, embroidery, woven labels, applique etc. Apparel construction basics, seams, trims, fabric behaviour Experience working with offshore manufacturers or sampling processes An eye for 90s surf and streetwear aesthetics #J-18808-Ljbffr
