About the Role Working as a Service Centre Assistant, this hands‑on role is ideal for someone for an experienced production operator who enjoys a variety of physical work, being part of a team, and seeing the results of their efforts each day. You’ll be: Washing large bins with high pressure hoses Repairing wooden pallets using power tools, replacing damaged boards, and ensuring quality standards are met Contributing to a safe workplace by following safety procedures Working towards production targets while maintaining high quality standards What We Offer Starting rate of $28.00/hour, with opportunities to grow through our wage grading system. 40 hour week - Monday to Friday, 2 - 10 pm schedule — great for night owls! Experience with using power tools and/or manual handling work Has experience in a production/factory environment Is willing to cross‑skill and learn all operations of the Service Centre Values safety and teamwork Has a positive attitude and reliable work ethic Is physically fit and comfortable working on your feet Can meet production targets while maintaining safety and quality Can pass a Ministry of Justice criminal history check and pre‑employment medical (including drug and alcohol screening) Has the right to work in New Zealand (please note we are unable to sponsor applicants at this time) Experience operating forklifts and holding an F endorsement on your full drivers licence will be an advantage.
