This is a permanent position, and we are open to full-time and part-time applicants working anywhere from 0.4 to 1.0 FTE. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides diagnostic Positron Emission Tomography (PET) as part of delivering an efficient radiology service of the highest quality. Day-to-day you will perform a wide range of diagnostic PET-CT procedures in a professional manner, ensuring high-quality data acquisition and image processing, reviewing the appropriateness of imaging requests, and applying ALARA principles to achieve optimal diagnostic outcomes. You will also manage radiopharmaceuticals — ordering, preparing, labelling, and disposing of radioactive materials in compliance with all legislative and organisational requirements — and maintain excellent communication with patients, their support people, and multidisciplinary clinical colleagues.
