About the Role As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will be at the frontline of patient care, responding quickly and confidently to a wide range of acute medical and surgical presentations. Using your clinical expertise, you will undertake comprehensive assessments, provide evidence-based care, coordinate interventions, and support patients and whānau during some of their most critical moments. About the Team/Service/ Location Our Emergency Department provides 24/7 acute care services to the people of Hawke's Bay. We are a supportive, high-performing team committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care while fostering professional growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement. About you As a Registered Nurse, you will bring: Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate. A relevant graduate and postgraduate qualification. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and time management skills. The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, professional development, and delivering high-quality patient-centred care. Previous emergency or acute care nursing experience. CORE Advanced certification.
