About the Team You’ll join the Credit Apps Squad within ASB’s Lend & Protect Tribe, a technology and business group responsible for experiences across home lending, business lending and insurance. The squad supports a portfolio of applications, services and integrations at the heart of ASB’s lending ecosystem. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will help improve existing platforms, support critical customer journeys and contribute to ongoing modernisation initiatives. About the Role As a Senior Integration Engineer (Software Specialist), you will work across the full software delivery lifecycle, designing, supporting and improving integration solutions that connect systems, applications and services across ASB. Key Responsibilities Support, enhance and maintain API integrations, applications and services. Design and deliver cloud‑to‑cloud and cloud‑to‑on‑premise integrations. Configure and deploy solutions across lending and collections platforms. Investigate and resolve integration issues through troubleshooting, monitoring and log analysis. Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions. Contribute to incident management and operational excellence activities. Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices. Lead technical initiatives and drive continuous improvement. About You We’re looking for a hands‑on integration engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and can work confidently across both project and operational environments. Key Skills and Experience Strong integration engineering experience across enterprise applications and services. Experience with API development, support and troubleshooting using tools such as Postman. Knowledge of authentication and authorisation technologies including OAuth and JWT. Experience with Git, GitHub and modern version control practices. Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, releases and deployment processes. Strong SQL Server and database skills. Experience working across cloud and on‑premise environments. Exposure to Azure‑based platforms and modern integration patterns. Understanding of incident management and production support practices. Experience with .NET and Web API development is advantageous. Experience within complex enterprise technology environments. Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
