Senior Associate/Special Counsel - Cross-Border Corporate & M&A

About the client We are delighted to be partnering with a market-leading firm, widely regarded as a top-tier name within the legal landscape, to appoint a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join its Corporate Advisory team. This firm is distinguished by the scale, quality and international dimension of its work. It consistently advises on significant corporate transactions, globally and domestically, offering its lawyers exposure to complex, high-value and often cross-border matters. About the opportunity This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior corporate lawyer currently operating within a top-tier or specialist practice, particularly with experience in cross-border transactions. It will also appeal to New Zealand qualified lawyers returning from overseas who are seeking to maintain high-quality corporate files. You will work closely with prominent domestic and international clients on matters including M&A, corporate structuring and governance, regulatory advisory and cross border transactions. Main industry focus will be within the energy and natural resources sectors but you will be part of the wider corporate division. About you You will have a minimum of six years PQE or more and be operating as a Senior Associate or Special Counsel but we also strongly encourage high level Associates to apply. You will bring strong technical expertise in M&A and general corporate matters, along with sound commercial judgement. At this level, you will be confident in managing complex client relationships with autonomy, while also contributing to the mentoring and development of junior lawyers.
