The opportunity Delaware North New Zealand is hiring a Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at the new BurgerFuel opening at Auckland Airport. As Food and Beverage Supervisor, you'll work closely with venue leadership to inspire a high-performing team, maintain operational standards, and contribute to the success of one of New Zealand's most recognised hospitality brands. Lead, motivate and develop team members across front and back of house Oversee daily operations, ensuring excellence in food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety Take charge of the venue during shifts, making decisions, and resolving issues confidently Coach team members and hold them accountable to performance, service, and operational standards Manage labour, COGS, productivity, and key performance targets Oversee inventory, ordering, stock control, and waste management Deliver exceptional guest experiences and effectively manage feedback and service recovery Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, and company standards Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing team development Drive sales through operational excellence, promotions, and upselling initiatives More About You Leadership experience in a QSR, fast food, or high-volume hospitality environment Experience in burger or similar quick-service operations, highly regarded Strong understanding of front and back-of-house operations Proven ability to coach, develop and lead high-performing teams Experience managing labour, productivity, and operational performance Guest-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills Food Safety Certificate LCQ and Duty Manager Certificate advantageous Availability to work afternoon/evening shift, Wednesday to Sunday, non-negotiable The application period will close on 13/09/2026, unless a successful qualified candidate is identified sooner.
