Precast Production Technician

As a Production Technician, you'll help the team hit our production schedule and output targets — while keeping morale positive and championing a strong health and safety culture on the floor. Key responsibilities Follow the production schedule to help achieve the daily production plan Set up and assemble moulds, place reinforcement, and cast, pour and finish concrete products Strip and dismantle forms once concrete has cured, and mark product against production drawings Operate power tools, forklift and concrete-mixing equipment safely Complete quality control sheets and act immediately on any non-conformances Keep your work area clean, safe and to standard What you’ll bring Previous experience with precast concrete products Ability to read and interpret plans and drawingslinux Sound decision-making and a practical, get-it-done approach Strong communication skills Able to safely manage manual handling up to 25kg A practical understanding of workshop health and safety standards F endorsement desirable What we offer Health insurance (subject to eligibility) Employee Assistance Programme Access to company partner discounts Who we are Founded in 1973, Hynds is New Zealand's premier product supplier for the management of water and water-based waste in the civil and rural infrastructure markets.
