About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate seniorMidwife to join the midwifery leadership team at Wairau Hospital, as a MidwifeClinical Coach. This position will give you the opportunity to use and extend yourclinical expertise providing evidence based and culturally safe clinicalcoaching and education. You will play akey role in delivering coaching support to new graduate midwives (MidwiferyFirst Year of Practice – MYFP), new starters to our team, colleagues needing torefresh their clinical skills and midwives returning to practice. Yourexpertise will guide them through clinical transitions, ensuring they developinto confident and competent practitioners. We welcome applicants to consider a blended role of part-time midwifeclinical coach and part-time core midwife, or other midwifery role if you arewanting a full-time position. About you You will have NZ Midwifery Council registration with a current practisingcertificate as well as 5+ years current clinical experience in NZ.
