Arawa Street Early Learning Centre is seeking a dedicated and nurturing kaiako to join our team. We provide a warm, respectful environment where tamariki are recognised as capable, confident learners and their identities, cultures, voices, and interests are valued. Our practice is grounded in whanaungatanga, respectful relationships, responsive care, and secure attachments, supporting children to feel safe, connected, and confident to explore, create, and learn. We are looking for a teacher who: Holds a recognised ECE qualification and current Teaching Council registration. Has a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with infants and toddlers. Is passionate about responsive, respectful care and nurturing relationships. Creates engaging, play-based learning experiences that support curiosity and development. Values strong partnerships with whānau and culturally responsive practice. Is reflective, collaborative, and committed to quality teaching and teamwork. What we offer: Full pay parity.
