A strong background and ability to teach senior visual art would also be an asset. We are a vibrant department and require a teacher to assist in our art programme specialising primarily in visual imaging Year 9 to 11, photography and design in senior school (state supporting strengths and subjects). We are a Google/Adobe school and experience with this is preferred. The successful applicant needs to be a team player, familiar with the relevant curriculum and NCEA assessment requirements and able to inspire and engage young women in this area. We have a well-resourced, collaborative art learning area. Applicants should be prepared to play an active role in the co-curricular and professional life of the school.
