MET Technician

We are currently recruiting for the position of MET Technician on behalf of our client, a reputable accident repair group based in Canterbury, Kent. This is a prime opportunity for experienced MET Technicians seeking to work within a high-quality, modern accident repair environment that values staff development and technological advancement. Benefits Basic salary up to £56,000, with bonus opportunities, achieving an OTE of approximately £58,000 Monday to Friday working hours, 08:00 – 17:30 Fully equipped workshop with ongoing equipment updates ATA/IMI accreditation training and ongoing support; ATA qualification preferred but not essential Company pension scheme Life assurance cover Retailer and theme park discounts Access to a thriving accident repair business with strong manufacturer and BS 10123 accreditation Duties of the MET Technician: Dismantling and reassembling accident-damaged vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications Repairing and replacing panels on vehicles, ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction Working efficiently and effectively both independently and within a team Demonstrating a sound understanding of vehicle repair processes and safety standards Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of technical advancements in vehicle repair Requirements: Proven experience as an MET Technician within the vehicle accident repair industry Ability to work within a team environment with a positive attitude Strong organisational and time management skills Main dealer and bodyshop experience is preferred ATA qualification is a plus, but not essential Flexibility to adapt to the team’s needs and work to high standards #J-18808-Ljbffr
