Experienced Nanny needed 35 hours weekly for children aged 3.5 and 1.5 14th August, 2026 NANNY | SILVERDALE, AUCKLAND, NZ Location: Silverdale, Auckland The Family: This lovely family is looking for a warm, energetic, and hands-on nanny to become part of their family long-term. They have two boys, aged 3 years and 1.5 years, and are looking for someone who will build a genuine relationship with the children and become a valued part of their home. Mum is at home and actively involved with the children, so the nanny will be working alongside Mum as a partnership, with the intention of building a positive and supportive relationship moving forward. The family enjoys a busy, happy home with plenty of opportunities for indoor and outdoor activities. They have a swimming pool at home and value creativity, hands-on play, nutritious food, and keeping the boys engaged throughout the day. Monday to Friday 7:45am–2:45pm Start: ASAP Hourly rate: Open to negotiation for the right candidate Long-term position Opportunity to become a valued part of the family The Role: Caring for two young boys aged 3 and 1.5 years Working alongside Mum in a supportive partnership Planning and engaging in creative, hands-on activities Indoor and outdoor play and activities Taking advantage of the swimming pool and outdoor space Encouraging age-appropriate learning and development Researching and introducing fun, educational activities and ideas Building activities around the boys' interests, including Lego Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children/family Folding and putting away children's laundry Keeping children's areas organised and tidy Helping with light household tasks related to the children No deep cleaning required, as the family has a cleaner weekly The Ideal Nanny: The family is looking for someone with positive energy, creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for working with young children. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive, energetic, and confident coming up with creative ways to keep two young boys engaged and learning. Someone who enjoys getting involved, playing on the floor, creating activities, getting outdoors, and making everyday moments fun will thrive in this role. It is important that the nanny is comfortable working alongside Mum, communicating openly, and developing a strong partnership as the family moves forward. Qualifications/Requirements: Previous nannying/childcare experience Minimum 3 years' experience working with children Experience with toddlers/young children preferred Warm, energetic, and genuinely passionate about childcare Creative and confident planning activities Hands-on approach to play and learning Comfortable working alongside a parent who is actively involved Reliable, organised, and proactive Comfortable with light child-related household duties Able to prepare nutritious meals and snacks Valid First Aid and CPR Valid National Police Check Looking for a long-term commitment Full driver's licence and reliable vehicle preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
