Due to roll growth, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a permanent full-time KingsWay School teacher (Years 7-13) with strengths in mathematics based in our senior school starting 28 January 2027. Located on the Hibiscus Coast of Auckland, KingsWay is a high achieving, growing, state integrated Christian school catering for Year 1-13 students, with a current roll of over 2000 students. Our staff are supportive and collaborative, and our work is inspired by love/aroha, heartened by faith/whakapono in Jesus Christ, and motivated by gospel hope/tūmanako. About the role Key responsibilities of the role include: Effectively engaging with and teaching mathematics to students in Years 10-13 Contributing to the departments academic process and achievement Relating well and being culturally responsive to a diverse range of students and staff The successful applicant will: Connect well with, and thrive on imparting their knowledge to Year 10-13 students Have experience with the NCEA mathematics curriculum Ability to teach calculus or statistics through to Year 13 advantageous An important condition of employment is that applicants must have a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the Special Christian Character of KingsWay School.
