Ideally, you will have experience in the secondary sector demonstrating: The ability to lead a dynamic and high functioning team, creating positive and productive relationships with students, colleagues, whānau, and the wider school ecosystem The ability to plan and prioritise tasks, have a high attention to detail, and be principled yet agile The ability to see and create opportunities to make continual improvements, both organisational/structural and personal The successful candidate will be well-informed about the upcoming curriculum and assessment changes and ready to lead the department in incorporating this into the high-quality learning environment within health and physical education. As well as running a top-performing HPE Scholarship programme, we have a range of health and PE courses, including sports science and outdoor education.
